Fiteni wishes to advise that due to weather and unsuitable ground conditions, the road closure has been extended.

Expected Duration: 5 Weeks
The temporary full road closure of Double Jump Road from Heinemann Road Intersection to the intersection of Cleveland Redland Bay Road will remain in place while works continue. Further updates will be provided as works progress.
During this time, traffic will be limited to local use only, facilitating access to residents’ driveways directly impacted to the closure. The community is encouraged to seek alternative routes during this time.
What can I expect?
- Temporary changed traffic conditions: traffic conditions and the use of Double Jump Road will be changed including reduced speed limits, limited access to Double Jump road for local residents only, changed road surface conditions and detours (as required).
- Work Hours: most work will occur between 6:30AM and 6:30PM, Monday to Friday, in line with the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (EP Act).
- Temporary Noise and Dust: varying levels of noise during construction, including the use of noise generating machinery such as excavators. Timing of noise will be limited to working hours. Any dust generated from construction works will be managed by the contractor in line with Council requirements.
- Temporary changed signage conditions: Electronic signs will be installed to communicate all traffic changes at either end of the road closure.
